Rentals
The Garden State Discovery Museum is the perfect place to host your next special
event, exclusive birthday party, office party or meeting. The engaging, hands-on
exhibits, warm and spacious theater and colorful multi-purpose private rooms
provide an environment that will delight all your guests...whether it's a meeting
for 25 or a party for 250!
Rent the whole Museum, just the theater or one of our multi-purpose rooms.
Our staff will assist you in coordinating and planning your event.
Exclusive Museum Rental
2 hours:
$1,250 for 100 people
$1,750 for 101-250 people
2 1/2 - 4 hours:
$2,250 for 100 people
$2,550 for 101-250
Additional Time
$75.00 per extra 1/2 hour
The Museum will provide two staff members. If you need additional staff, they will cost $75.00 per staff member.
The rental includes the use of the Museum Exhibit areas, the Discovery Theater and private rooms 1, 2 and 3. You must provide your own food, drink, paper products and decorations. You may arrive at 6:00 pm to begin setting up. Memberships are not valid for Private Rental Events. No other discounts apply to Museum rentals.
Theater Rentals
Capacity: 80 adults
One staff member will be provided.
Up to 2 hours: $350
2-4 hours: $600
$75 for each additional 1/2 hour
Sport Court Rentals
Capacity: 35-40 adults
One staff member will be provided.
Up to 2 hours: $350
2-4 hours: $500
$75 for each additional 1/2 hour
Private Party Room Rentals
Capacity: 20-40 adults
One staff member will be provided.
Party Rooms are available during limited Museum hours and after hours.
Up to 2 hours: $250
2-4 hours: $450
Garden Pavilion Rentals
Capacity: 25 adults
One staff member will be provided.
Up to 2 hours: $250
2-4 hours: $375
$75 for each additional 1/2 hour.
